The American Dream: It is as old as this land, and as near
as the heart of all humanity. Its the chance to achieve success, to find a
fulfilling career, and to own a home that is your very own. My career has been
about helping people achieve that dream. My path has taken me from the Andover
schools (Go Trojans!), to Wichita State University earning both undergraduate
and graduate degrees (Go Shockers!), to nearly 20 years on the faculty of three
local colleges. It has also included over 20 years at a neighborhood pharmacy
advancing into progressively senior positions. Throughout this time there has
been one overall theme, helping people make their lives better. In many
conversations with students and with friends, I have heard people question
whether the American Dream was still achievable, whether the home that most of
us want is within reach. And again and again I have enthusiastically shared
with people that that Dream is still within reach, that the vast majority of us
can afford our own home. In many ways the better question is: Can you afford not to own a home? Recognizing
that you have to live somewhere, you will either be buying a home or apartment
for someone else by renting, or you will be buying it for yourself by owning.
Basically, I have been promoting home ownership long before becoming a Realtor,
demonstrating that the best investment has always been in yourself, in your
health, your education, and in your home. If you would like to achieve the
dream of home ownership, move up to your dream home, or downsize to a more
manageable home give me a call, send me a text, shoot me an e-mail. Just reach
out and let me help you achieve your American Dream.
